Can I use both Flare and Sunburst?
Yes. Flare and Sunburst are both available for text-to-image and image-to-image. Flare is selected by default. You can switch versions in the generator; both use the same credit prices for each resolution.
How many credits does GPT Image 2.5 use?
Each image costs 5 credits at 1K, 10 at 2K, or 16 at 4K. Prices are the same for Flare and Sunburst and for both input modes. Batch items and repeats are charged for the total number of images requested.
Which reference images can I upload?
Image-to-image accepts 1 to 16 JPG/JPEG, PNG, or WebP images, up to 30 MB per file. Upload the references and describe the changes you want in the prompt.
Can I generate an image with a transparent background?
Yes. Choose Transparent in the background control. Automatic and Opaque are also available, and all three options work in both text-to-image and image-to-image.
Which resolutions and aspect ratios are available?
Choose 1K, 2K, or 4K. The 13 aspect ratio options are auto, 1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9, 27:16, 16:27, 9:8, and 8:9. The final four are available only at 1K. Higher resolutions show the compatible options.
